Yes your been a teacher. You've taught her how harsh this world is. For now she won't be afraid to face more harsh ppl like you in her roads. But mind you she's gonna travel many miles. She was just a playful girl with a smile attached to her face and dreams in her eyes. At 16 years of age now she has fear, her smile is being judged, ambitions seem to be uncertain. And yes u've done this to her. She learnt life too early.
These are the most painful times in one's life. However, truth is that everyone is 'harsh' to someone in this world. The girl might already be a harsh teacher to someone and never even know about it. That's how the world is I believe, sad isn't it? But this girl is young, and it's better that way for she has more time to recover and move on.
